You get to ask where your money goes when you give to a church.

There are lots of different ways people give to the Church. We receive support from weekly offerings taken during our worship service. We also receive regular offerings from members and friends who pledge to give steadily, overtime. Sometimes we receive gifts of support from folks who cross paths with us and get excited about who we are as a Church and want to help us do our work. Most of the support we receive goes directly into supporting our cash flow. We have staff to pay, lights and gas to keep on, and an old but beautiful building to maintain. The rest we use to support our ministries and mission to Detroit and the world. We believe in being a financially faithful church that serves our community generously. Christ holds us accountable to it. If you still have questions it is perfectly okay to ask the pastor.
